- There is a wait list for the Waiver but once approved you are qualified to apply to these two programs:
  - AL HIPP- The Alabama HIPP Program is designed to save money for Medicaid families with high healthcare costs by eliminating most out-of-pocket medical expenses for qualifying Medicaid recipients. www.MyAlHipp.com
  - Personal Choices- Once approved for Medicaid or the Medicaid waiver program ask you caseworker about Personal Choices. “Under the Personal Choices program individuals are provided a monthly allowance from which they will determine what services they need. “
