Community Outreach Volunteers join a TWA team lead at resource fairs, conferences, wellness events, and other community gatherings. You’ll help welcome people to our table, share materials and information about TWA, and connect attendees with programs and resources that may be helpful to them.
No prior TWA volunteer experience is required. Choose one event or several based on your availability.

A statewide gathering of Head Start families, professionals, and community partners focused on strengthening families and connecting them with valuable resources.
Saturday, September 12 · 9 AM–12 PM
Birmingham CrossPlex · Birmingham, AL
A community wellness event focused on emotional well-being, mental health awareness, and connecting attendees with mental health, social service, educational, and wellness resources.
Tuesday, September 15 · 5–7 PM
Mountain Brook High School · Mtn Brook, AL
A school-hosted resource fair bringing families, educators, community organizations, and service providers together to make helpful connections and discover available resources.
Saturday, September 19 · 9 AM–12 PM
HCS Career Technology Center · Huntsville, AL
A community wellness fair bringing together organizations and resources that support the health and well-being of children, families, and communities.

A professional conference connecting healthcare providers with programs and resources that support children and families.
